Artesan Dance Company is comprised of culturally diverse dancers from across the globe with technical backgrounds in Classical Ballet, Modern, and Ethnic Dance. Bringing together beauty and innovation they deliver a breathtaking experience for their audience. In Fusion, Artistic Director and Choreographer, Summer Odell, pulls from the resources of her dancers and merges it with her own artistic insight to create unique and spellbinding choreography. Presenting three distinctly different yet equally inspired pieces showcase Artesan Dance Company’s range of artistry and innovation.

In Genesis, Choreographers Natasha Morken and Summer Odell take a contemporary look at Classical Ballet. Choreographed in 2006 Genesis is a blend of precision and elegance with music from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.

Fusion is a high-energy piece that melds the art of Modern, Ballet and Street Dance with percussion-based music from Japan and India. This cohesive celebration of ethnic and urban culture is a riveting collaboration of break dancers from Europe and the United States and movement inspired by experiences in Asia and Africa.

Love Story is an action-packed contemporary ballet that explores the themes of love, betrayal and courage. With exquisitely designed costumes and gripping choreography set to dramatic music this is a modern day tale of a captivating beauty, the man who loves her, and the jealous villain who plots against them.
